BC Pavilion Re-Opening March 12th for the Paralympic Winter Games
The British Columbia Pavilion – located on the fourth floor of the Vancouver Art Gallery – will re-open during the Paralympic Winter Games on March 12th. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from March 12th to 21st, the BC Pavilion has something for everyone and is free! Come check out the BC Pavilion’s:
BC Forest Gallery: take a walk through the diverse forests of British Columbia and learn about one of the province’s most beautiful and natural assets.
Green Technology Gallery: B.C. is proud to be taking a lead in the fight against climate change, and this exhibit shows some of the unique and innovative ways the province is working towards greener, cleaner technology.
3D Immersive Tourism Theatre: A 3D immersive experience through some of BC’s most beautiful, fun and thrilling tourist and adventure spots.
Multimedia Gallery: It’s certainly not “all work, no play” in BC, home to some of the best and brightest in the electronic media industry. Full of interactive touch-screen cubes, this is a fun and entertaining room for visitors of all ages.
Please note: The Gallery's By Donation Tuesday Evenings will resume on Tuesday, March 23, following the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.
